Premise offers a wide range of dynamic, purpose-driven career opportunities. We are currently looking for a Full-time Audiology Tech to join our team in Winnemucca, NV.

Unique opportunity! Anticipated work schedule will be 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri. No weekends! 


Essential Functions: 

  • Perform audiometric testing on all employees enrolled in the hearing conservation program
  • Record all test results
  • Review all audiograms and select abnormal/problem audiograms for review by physician
  • Notify employees of a standard threshold shift according to the OSHA Regulations
  • Retest employees with standard threshold shifts and schedule within OSHA requirements for retesting
  • Perform an otoscopic exam on every employee prior to every audiogram
  • Refer to the appropriate sources for further testing or medical treatment
  • Coordinate annual maintenance and calibration of the audiometers and testing booths
  • Perform daily audiometric calibrations and equipment checks and record appropriately
  • Provide education, training and counseling regarding hearing conservation to employees
  • Assist in the selection and fitting of hearing protection devices
  • Be knowledgeable of all Premise policies and procedures related to the Hearing Conservation Program


Job Requirements:

  • Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) certification preferred
  • 2-3 years experience as a Hearing Conservationist in an occupational health setting


Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of OSHA hearing conservation regulations
  • Knowledge about workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations
  • Strong computer skills (Internet software, spreadsheet, word processing etc.
  • Strong attention to detail
