About the role:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Analytics and Intelligence will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for driving the organization's data strategy and optimizing business performance through advanced analytics and insights. This role will lead the development, implementation, and management of data-driven initiatives that enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and overall business outcomes. The SVP will collaborate across functions to ensure analytics capabilities are aligned with business objectives, enabling a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Essential Functions:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Analytics & Intelligence teams, aligning the department’s efforts with organizational goals and business priorities.
- Shape the long-term analytics vision, driving innovation, automation, and the continuous improvement of business processes through data.
- Partner with the CEO and other senior executives to develop actionable insights and data-driven strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data across all business units, ensuring actionable insights are derived to optimize decision-making.
- Lead the development and execution of predictive analytics, data modeling, and reporting initiatives.
- Ensure robust and efficient data management, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.
- Leverage analytics to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, process optimization, and cost reduction across the organization.
- Develop and deploy methodologies for continuous improvement, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, providing regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and optimization experts to foster innovation and excellence within the department.
- Promote a data-driven culture across the organization, ensuring that data insights are consistently applied in decision-making processes.
- Champion professional development opportunities and support career growth within the analytics team.
- Work closely with key stakeholders in marketing, finance, operations, product development, and IT to integrate business analytics across departments.
- Facilitate collaboration between business and technology teams to ensure data infrastructure and systems meet organizational needs.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in business analytics, optimization, and artificial intelligence.
- Drive the adoption of cutting-edge tools and technologies that can enhance the organization's data capabilities and optimize business performance.
- Provide clear and concise communication to the board of directors and senior leadership regarding the performance of business analytics initiatives, key findings, and strategic recommendations.
- Translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 17+ years of experience in business analytics, data science, business optimization, or related roles
- 5+ years of proven experience in AI and Machine learning including deep learning, NLP, reinforcement learning & designing and implementing elegant machine learning models at scale
- 5+ years of proven experience in leading large-scale data transformation in a Healthcare setting
- Experience managing large, cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Proven track record of driving business performance improvements and optimizing operational efficiency through data and analytics.
Preferred Experience:
- Strong expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, business intelligence tools, and data visualization.
- Deep understanding of business processes, operations, and strategy across various business functions.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, SQL, QLIK and others.
- A strong strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
- Expertise in advanced machine learning, AI, and automation technologies preferred.

For individuals living in California, Colorado, Washington; as well as, for individuals living in or reporting to New York State only, Premise Health is required to include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Washington and New York State compensation is $200,000 - $300,000 with eligible bonus opportunity.
