Responsibilities
The position offers a flexible part-time schedule of 20 hours per week. The schedule may be arranged as four days per week at five hours per day or five days per week at four hours per day.
The client is flexible with start and end times, provided the shift overlaps the location’s operating hours; typical shift options for this role are 3:00 PM–7:00 PM or 3:30 PM–7:30 PM.
- Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention
- Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
- Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
- Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
- Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date record
- Participate in meetings and task forces
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
Education:
- Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
- Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
- Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
- Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
Experience:
- Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
- Experience in Ergonomics preferred
