Premise offers a wide range of dynamic, purpose-driven career opportunities. We are currently looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to join our team in Brentwood, TN. This is a hybrid position in office 2-3 days per week.


About the role: 

The Corporate Development team at Premise Health is looking to add talent at the analyst level to further support M&A, partnerships, and other strategic growth initiatives. The position is responsible for working with cross functional teams, including leaders across the organization, to coordinate the research, diligence, development, enhancement, and execution of complex, high profile projects. The positions will also be responsible for performing financial analysis and modeling, market analysis, business case building, business process analysis, and documenting business and strategic requirements as well as current state and future state to help position the organization for future growth and success. This team member must demonstrate a collaborative approach in a team environment with hands-on business analysis and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong concentration in functional analysis.


Essential Functions:  

    Performs deal-related analysis, including financial modeling and due diligence review and management

    Supports due diligence process, including communication with target companies and bankers, manage diligence lists, and delegate action items to internal subject matter experts

    Assists in development of enterprise strategy roadmap and content to accelerate education efforts and inform future build, buy, or partner decisions

    Supports enterprise partnership evaluation process and execution of partnerships, including communication with external parties, business case creation, financial opportunity evaluation, and contracting process

    Assists in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior leadership, executive team, and board of directors

    Tracks sourcing efforts for M&A and enterprise partnerships and facilitate execution of legal agreements, including NDAs and other transaction documents

    Supports gathering of market intelligence via research and internal cross-functional collaboration, and leads the aggregation, analysis, and dissemination of insights across the enterprise to inform strategic decision-making

    Completes assigned tasks, ad hoc requests, projects in accordance with assigned timeframes and present analyses and findings to stakeholders

    Works with cross functional teams to identify, research, and analyze opportunities and strategies for growth and improvement

    Responsible for managing multiple projects including the development, implementation, and support for assigned projects

    Understands the business as a whole and takes ownership in an effort to become a proactive partner in idea generation and messaging

    Comfortable communicating organizational goals and priorities to external parties, including targets, bankers, potential partners, etc.

    Sets up, facilitates, and takes notes for meetings with internal and external parties


Job Requirements: 

    Bachelor's Degree required

    Graduate Degree - MBA preferred 


Preferred Experience : 

    1-4 years of prior experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate strategy or corporate finance required

    Experience with designing, implementing, and executing projects which involve numerous stages and stakeholders

    Experience with modeling, financial analysis, and developing business cases

    Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization

    Experience with and knowledge of healthcare services highly preferred

    Proactive and detail-oriented, with a team-first mindset

    Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams 

    Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment

    Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated business analytics and financial modeling abilities

    Superior verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentation skills, confident in all settings with individuals at all levels of an organization, including internally and externally

    Ability to communicate information succinctly and create a cohesive and compelling narrative throughout a presentation or other deliverable

    Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using VLOOKUP function, IF logic, IRR, pivot tables, and other financial modeling functions)

    Advanced level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: changing picture styles, customizing animation and/or setting automatic slide timings)
