Premise offers a wide range of dynamic, purpose-driven career opportunities. We are currently looking for a Virtual Group Exercise Instructor to join our team and teach one - two classes per week.

Purpose of the Position:

To provide safe and effective exercise instruction to class participants in a group setting.

Essential Job Functions:

• Adhere to virtual group exercise instructor expectations
• Access to the internet and professional teaching environment
• Provide group exercise class instruction to our virtual fitness participants
• Design and deliver routines for members of all ability levels and provide multi-level modifications
• Provide a memorable experience and excellent customer service to our class participants
• Create a safe exercise environment for all class participants by adhering to the site specific safety and injury prevention procedures
• Complete assigned annual compliance trainings
• May require other duties as assigned 

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

• Group Exercise Primary certification from nationally recognized organization (e.g. AFFA, ACE, IDEA)
• Specialty certifications as determined by class format
• Yoga instructors must have at least participated in a 200 hour certification 

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience instructing group exercise classes
• Experience in the corporate fitness setting preferred 

Knowledge and Skills:

• Tech savvy
• High level of comfort working with video webinar tools – software, camera, music, microphone, etc
• Ability to work with a virtual team
• Professional, engaging demeanor and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong oral communication skills
• Effective teaching skills
• Comfortable speaking in group settings

For individuals living in California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Washington; as well as, for individuals living in or reporting to New York State only, Premise Health is required to  include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, Washington, and New York compensation is $15.00 - $20.00.
