Premise offers a wide range of dynamic, purpose-driven career opportunities. We are currently looking for an HR Specialist to join our team in Brentwood, TN. This is a hybrid position reporting in office Tuesday and Thursday.
About the role:
As the HR Specialist, you will provide day to day HR support and consultation to team members and managers throughout the organization. You are responsible for supporting the implantation of key HR strategies and initiatives in support of HR and Company goals. You will provide guidance on a broad spectrum of human resources operational issues. You will partner with management teams to facilitate the delivery of HR services as appropriate. You function as contact for employees and managers providing guidance and direction in response to HR questions.
Job Requirements:
• Provides tactical HR support, coaching and navigation assistance to manager level leaders on general HR topics including but not limited to, talent management, progressive discipline, policy questions, HR back-office processes and initiatives.
• Provides support to Employee Relations investigations as needed through data gathering and analysis. May participate in climate assessment interviews.
• Partners with HRBP’s and the Implementation teams to support the new business implementation / lift out process including onboarding, orientation and training.
• Supports the communication, execution and delivery of cross-functional and HR projects and initiatives
• Partners with the Leaves Specialist in managing the ADA request process. Coordinates with managers and Leaves Specialist to review ADA requests and determine if accommodations can be approved.
• Responsible for managing the document request process for notification letters (physician, site closure, job elimination etc.) and other employment related documentation. Partners with legal and ER as needed for complex requests.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Partners with matrix COE’s to address concerns and develop solutions.
• Manages client specific audits
• Manages tier 2-3 cases received through AskHR conducting intake of cases and identifying next steps.
• Analyzes current documentation, programs and procedures and makes recommendations for improved effectiveness and standardization.
• May assist in or be responsible for special projects
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
• Certification as PHR or SPHR as granted by HRCI preferred
Experience:
• Minimum 4 years of Human Resources experience
Knowledge and Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and multitask in a high volume environment
• Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong detail orientation and problem solving skills
• Demostrated understanding of the importance of partnership, collaboration, and shared resources with team members at all levels
• Proficient in utilizing HR technology platforms (UKG, Avature, Service Now etc.)
