As a Full Time Paramedic, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Maryville, TN. This position will also cover our Health Center located in Athens, TN.  The scheduled hours are Wednesday/Friday, 8:00a - 4:00p in Maryville, TN.  Saturday/Sunday, 7:00a - 7:00p in Athens, TN.



What You’ll Do

  • Assesses nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance.
  • Administers initial treatment at emergency scene and takes and records patient's vital signs.
  • Initiates intravenous fluids to administer medication or drug cardiac monitoring.
  • Administers injections of medications and drugs
  • Communicates with physician and other medical personnel in person and by radio-telephone.
  • Keeps current on treatment techniques, protocol changes, material, and equipment.
  • Prepares required reports and maintains records of activities.
  • Conducts safety inspections, requisitions and restocks supplies, material, and equipment.
  • May require other duties as assigned.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from an accredited Paramedic training program,
  • Current Paramedic Certification as defined within the state in which work will be performed.
  • Current ACLS certification
