As a Full Time Phlebotomist, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Gainesville, FL. 

The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday 10a-7p.

• Start shift at 10:00 AM, supporting clinic flow as the morning rush winds down
• Provide excellent customer service to our members, ensuring a positive patient experience
• Answer phones and assist with patient triage, check-in, and check-out
• Work independently as needed, including during the last hour of the shift
• Thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment

What You’ll Do

• Works independently, in a safe and appropriate manner in accordance with safety and organizational policies and procedures  
• Assists with supply inventory  
• May instruct phlebotomy procedure to new employees  
• Understands and abides by all of the BSFHC infection control guidelines and safety procedures; know location and use of MSDS material and use of emergency equipment  
• May require other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Current national certification (required for WA, CA and LA) in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not acceptable.  
• CPR (BLS for community/lay responder or Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer - the copy must include the front and back of card as applicable) Certification must include “hands on” evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor. Total on-line courses will not be accepted. Course must also meet the American Heart Association (AHA) standards but need not be an AHA certificate.  
• State Lab Certificate (NV only)  
• State Phlebotomy Tech Certification (CA, WA and LA)
• Six months to one year phlebotomy experience in a healthcare environment or satisfactory completion of an approved phlebotomy course and completion of 100 hours clinical experience
