As a Part Time Phlebotomist, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Martinsburg, PA. The scheduled hours are Mondays, 8am-4:30pm. Work closely with our provider in a small, collaborative clinic setting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, proficient with technology (EMR systems), and possesses strong phlebotomy skills. 

What You’ll Do

  • Works independently and in accordance with safety and organizational policies and procedures  
  • Assists with supply inventory  
  • May instruct phlebotomy procedure for new employees  
  • Understands and abides by all of industry standards and Premise Health infection control guidelines and safety procedures;  
  • Knowledge of use of SDS material and emergency equipment in facility  
  • Proficient in phlebotomy skills, specimen collection, processing and assessing vital signs for patients  
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records  
  • Other duties as assigned  

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not acceptable  
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required  
  • State Lab Certificate (NV only)  
  • State Phlebotomy Tech Certification (CA, WA and LA)  
  • Six months to one year phlebotomy experience in a healthcare environment or satisfactory completion of an approved phlebotomy course and completion of 100 hours clinical experience
