As a Full Time Physician Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Centers located in Sanford and Lake Mary, FL. The scheduled hours are Sanford: Monday, 8am-5pm & Thursday, 8am-7pm. Lake Mary: Tuesday, 7am-3pm & Friday, 8am-12pm.  Strong clinical background and DEA required. Primary or urgent care experience a plus. 

What You’ll Do

  • Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.  
  • Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.  
  • Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.  
  • Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.  
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.  
  • Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.  
  • Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.  
  • Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.  
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.  

What You’ll Bring

  • Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.  
  • Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).  
  • Current NCCPA national certification required.  
  • Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.  
  • Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).  
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.  
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
