About the role:
Product Strategy Director under a product leader solves current and prospective client and member pain points through product strategy, development, and evolution. This role develops product vision/strategy, product enhancements, and helps set product priorities in collaboration with key stakeholders. In addition, the Product Director determines high-level requirements of product developments/additions to support the commercialization of products. This includes new lines of services, sub products, product features, production functionality, and guardrails. The Product Director will be assigned to more than one product.
Essential Functions:
• Responsible for day-to-day product strategy and execution. This includes discovery, analyses, strategy recommendations and execution of product innovation for an assigned number of products.
• Responsible for evaluating, recommending, and driving product vision/strategy and innovation in collaboration with product delivery, other growth & development teams, and stakeholders from other departments within the enterprise.
• Compiles, reviews and presents product-level performance data and KPIs.
• Builds and revises commercial thesis based on market and internal data. Supports the product leader in developing a vision and path to achieve that vision.
• Manages the tactical roadmap of internal activities to achieve long term objectives of the product.
• Leverage deep knowledge of customer, data, and go-to market needs to support the funding, prioritization and enterprise support for product development:
o Business case development
o Allocation of resources across corporate teams
o Go to market strategy and execution
o Product messaging, value proposition, pricing models and guardrails to support client sales opportunities
• Develop sets of executive-level presentations on assigned products by combining and distilling key information for relevant product strategies/execution and approaches – including internal and external data.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders on specific marketplace and product topics.
• Builds and communicates deep financial analyses to drive understanding of market positioning, potential cost/pricing models and profitability based on a multitude of data sources and internal/external factors.
• Integrate internal financial and sales data to drive product priorities and decision making
• Partner with operations and product delivery stakeholders to execute tactical improvements on assigned products
• Define, monitor, and report on product-specific KPIs. Constantly collect and analyze performance data (e.g., market; financial; operational) in order to enhance existing products and identify new opportunities for the business
• Drive success and proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategy of products milestones.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience required
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Healthcare Services or Health-Tech industry experience required
• At least 5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, healthcare business strategy and/or product management
Preferred Experience:
• Strong strategy skills and ability to execute strategies in a large organization with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong financial analysis acumen
• Strong communications background
• Ability to communicate with executive leadership
• Demonstrated experience managing products in the healthcare space.

For individuals living in California, Colorado, Washington; as well as, for individuals living in or reporting to New York State only, Premise Health is required to include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Washington and New York State compensation is $130,000 - $150,000 with eligible bonus opportunity.
