As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Newberry, MI. 

The scheduled hours are 30 hours per week Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8a-3p, Tuesday 11a-6p and Thursday 10a-5p with 1-hour scheduled lunches each day.
  • Enjoy a consistent 30-hour/week schedule that promotes strong work/life balance, with no weekends and daytime weekday hours.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in a single-nurse outpatient clinic, supporting both RN-only visits and virtual provider appointments.
  • Manage a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities including patient care, scheduling, referral follow-up, and general clinic operations 
  • Build meaningful relationships with employees and dependents while supporting onsite wellness events, patient education, and client engagement activities.

What You’ll Do

  • Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
  • Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
  • Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred 
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
  • At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
