As a Part Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Fort Worth, TX. The scheduled hours are 20 hours (2 shifts) per week. Friday 1:30p - midnight. The additional workday will be flexible and may vary based on business needs, day or evening shift.


Seeking RN with Occupational Health, ER or Urgent Care experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
  • Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
  • Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred 
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
  • At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
