The Disaster Recovery Senior Analyst will lead the practice within the technology organization.  The role will collaborate with IT stakeholders and management to design, develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery plans, conduct disaster recovery risk assessments, design backup and recovery procedures, and facilitate the testing of disaster recovery plans. 


This is a full time, remote Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst role.


What You'll Do

    Design, develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery (DR) plans for IT business units.

    Conduct risk assessments to identify gaps in DR plans

    Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate potential threats across operations, regulatory, cybersecurity, natural disasters, and technology.

    Collaborate with stakeholders across IT to ensure that disaster recovery plans are aligned with business needs and priorities.

    Partner with Corporate Risk in the maintenance of the disaster recovery policies and standards and ensure IT compliance with these documents.

    Ensure critical supply chain and key vendors meet or exceed Premise Health’s disaster recovery requirements.

    Facilitate disaster recovery test activities and lead continual improvement.

    Analyze disaster incidents and develop strategies to mitigate future risks.

    Prepare reports and documentation to communicate the status of disaster recovery efforts to stakeholders and management.

    Stay up to date on emerging technologies and best practices in disaster recovery to continuously improve processes and procedures.

    Monitor and measure the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans and make recommendations for improvement as needed.

    Train staff and educate employees on disaster recovery processes, their roles during incidents, and adherence to disaster recovery policies.


What You'll Bring

    Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, but not required.  

    5+ years of experience with IT disaster recovery planning and implementation.  

    Understanding of disaster recovery planning and business continuity principles

    Proficiency in developing and testing disaster recovery plans.

    Strong technical understanding of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.

    Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    Excellent analytical and organizational skills

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Highly adaptable and able to respond effectively to disaster recovery emergencies

    Experience with using business continuity / disaster recovery management software

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors. 


For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0692 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
